Between 2009 and 2011 we worked with a group of colleagues on nutrient run-off problems on the Eastern Shore of Maryland…including both grain and poultry operations. The relationship between the poultry farmers and the processors like Tyson Foods appeared to be an amazingly ‘one-sided’ contract.
